What to expect from a printed photograph.
Your screen makes colour with light; paper makes it with ink. The two cannot match exactly, and a print will often look slightly darker or less vivid than the same image on a bright phone screen. This is a property of printing, not a defect.
Screens also differ from each other. An image tuned on one phone can look different on another before it is printed at all.
A photograph that looks sharp on a phone can be too small to print well at a larger size. The app checks this and warns you when an image is below the resolution a size needs.
You can print past that warning, but the result will be soft, and that is not a fault we can refund.
Print sizes have fixed proportions, so an image whose shape differs from the paper must be cropped to fit. The preview in the app shows exactly what will be printed — what you see there is what you get.
We keep prices, delivery charges and delivery times on these pages in step with the app, but the figures shown to you in the app at checkout are the ones that apply to your order.
